Opposing the Non-Existent?

by Ken Thomas

I noticed an ad in the Nashville Tennessean last Sunday that gave a number to call if one were an atheist or were interested in atheism. It said, "Nashville Atheists now organizing." Why do they need to organize to oppose something that "does not exist"?

Our God created the heavens and the earth ( Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 42:5). He gives "breath and spirit: to the people who live on the earth. "Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, 'What makest thou?' or thy work, 'He hath no hands'?"

There are many today who openly espouse unbelief. Do you openly espouse your belief? "Let the redeemed of the Lord say so."
